Involvement & Leadership

Here you can find out more about my involvement in my community at Clemson. I have been a dedicated member of the French Professional Society and Greek life at Clemson.

FPS Vice President

August 2021-December 2021

As Vice President, I was able to alongside the president in organizing events while also serving as a liaison between members and the president. I helped in decisions regarding guest speakers to invite. On multiple occasions, the president and I would meet with these guest speakers and organize an agenda for the upcoming event. Another responsibility of mine was recording the attendance for each event and submitting the list to any faculty member that kept track. deciding whom to invite to speak and meeting with them beforehand to discuss an agenda for the meeting. As Vice-President, I also promoted FPS events via email and social media.

FPS President

January 2022-December 2022

Transitioning into the position of President was smooth due to organization techniques implemented by the previous president and me. As President, I was responsible for coordinating educational speaker/networking events between members of the organization and guest speakers with backgrounds pertaining to French and/or international business. I would frequently have meetings with the faculty advisor involved regarding the topics (study abroad, career advice, internship opportunities) that should be discussed. I promoted the events via email and facilitated group discussions as well.

The French Professional Society’s mission is to inform all students involved in french majors about internship and post -graduate opportunities, international business activities, and study abroad experiences. Students, alumni, and other business professionals present to the society their experiences.

Chi Omega

Psi Kappa Chapter

Chi Omega is the largest women’s fraternal organization across the globe. Chi Omega’s key values include friendship, high standards of personnel, scholarship, participation in campus activities, career development, and community service. Since August 2019 when I became an active member, I have involved myself in philanthropy events, building strong connections with women across the country, and developing leadership skills

Recruitment Team

I had the opportunity to serve on Chi Omega’s recruitment team. In this role, I collaborated with other members of the chapter to coordinate the logistics of recruitment. I was able to assist in decisions involving decorations, accounting for the almost 1200 potential new members, and acting as a liaison between the chapter and the head of recruitment.
