Experience: Business Development Intern
This page documents my internship with an international company. My summer internship allowed for immense growth and development opportunities

A requirement for my undergraduate degree includes completing an internship with an international company (located domestically or internationally) that uses our target language. I had the opportunity to complete the internship requirement with the French American Chamber of Commerce of the Carolinas (FACCC) in the Summer of 2022. For the Summer, I was working remotely as a Business Development Intern. My tasks focused on researching french/francophone companies in North and South Carolina that should be contacted about joining the chamber, planning networking opportunities, and discussing logistics with the executive director. This experience allowed me to connect with professionals from successful international companies and learn more about the international market. By promoting the Chamber and researching the benefits of joining, I learned how important networking is in any career, especially when working globally. In the report below, I discuss my position working with the organization, the significance of networking for international businesses, and the future success of the French-American Chamber of Commerce of the Carolinas.
