Here you will find details regarding personal and academic achievements that I worked towards during my time at Clemson.

DIPLÔME DE FRANÇAIS PROFESSIONNEL

The Diplômes de Français Professionnel is an exam administered by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris Ile-de-France. The exam scores can be used to verify one’s level of proficiency. tested material includes reading comprehension, listening skills, and an oral assessment. While there are multiple diplomas in specialized areas offered, I was able to take and pass the “affaires” exam. The affaires, or business exam provides realistic business situations and evaluates the level of understanding and communication.   Each section activity was based on common business studies: economics, negotiating tactics and marketing strategy.  I prepared for this exam during the first  of my French for International Business courses, and received my diploma in the summer of 2021. John Bednar Award for Excellence in French and International Business

Dr. John C. Bednar, Clemson University French and International Business

This award is given to Language and International Business Students at Clemson University. Dr. Bednar’s award acknowledges and praises students who exhibit exceptional performance in their studies. I was the recipient of this award during the last semester of my senior year at Clemson. It was incredibly rewarding since I spent eight semesters pursuing this degree. John Bednar presented me with this award and spent time discussing tips for success and maintaining fluency in the French language.
